Heydar Aliyev International Airport (GYD) is situated just 25 minutes by car from the city center, and its design combining Azerbaijani traditional elements and modern architecture impress visitors coming to Baku for the first time.
Baku Airport has excellent international connections either through domestic airlines (Azerbaijan Airlines-Azal) or other foreign main airlines. Many daily flights connect Baku to other European and Asian capitals, as well as New York in the United States.
Please note that the transport from the Airport to the Official Hotels and then the way back will be provided by the organizers.
Transport in Baku
A trip by a London taxi (purple cabs) in the city center will cost you around 5-10 AZN depending on the distance.

Besides that, you can use a well developed public bus service going everywhere in the city. A bus or metro ride costs 0,20 AZN.
